Adrian Pearsall: A Designer Guide

Adrian Pearsall (1925–1980) ran his own manufacturing operation, Craft Associates, out of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, giving him rare creative freedom to pursue bold, sculptural forms rarely seen from larger mid-century manufacturers.

He's best known for kidney- and amoeba-shaped walnut coffee tables with dramatic glass tops, deep-seated wave lounge chairs, and biomorphic side tables — an unmistakable, organic counterpoint to the era's more rectilinear designs. Pearsall's furniture prioritized comfort and presence in equal measure, and it remains a favorite among collectors drawn to mid-century design's more expressive, sculptural side.

MidCentury Masters regularly carries authentic Adrian Pearsall furniture — browse our current Adrian Pearsall collection here.
