David Gil Sculptural Head of Ceramic, Lucite and Wood for Bennington Pottery
Bennington Pottery double sided sculpture of a head split and mounted on opposing sheets of Lucite. Each head half decorated with impressed, apparently random, numbers and letters. Reportedly designed by David Gil. Signed Bennington Potters inside one half. The pottery is glued to the Lucite.
This piece is in very good overall original condition. There is some dirt on the head and you can see by the pictures there is some wear on one of the ears; overall this is a very cool piece.
Each head 11" tall on 19" stand
