Harvey Probber

Harvey Probber (1922–2003) founded his own furniture company in 1945 and became a pioneer of modular seating, letting clients configure sectionals to fit any room — a concept far ahead of its time. He's equally celebrated for his sculptural terrazzo-top tables, rich walnut case pieces, and clean-lined lounge chairs that defined a refined, architectural strain of American mid-century design.
