A dramatic 1970s California redwood burl coffee table, cut from a single slab with a naturally sculpted live edge. The top shows rich amber and cinnamon tones with dark figured burl throughout, natural voids, and heavily knotted, textured edges that give the piece real presence. It sits on two sculptural redwood trunk bases that keep the look organic and grounded.
The piece has a high-gloss lacquer or resin finish typical of the period, which deepens the grain and makes the burl glow. It's a true one-of-a-kind example of 1970s California craft design and works as a statement piece in mid-century, organic modern, rustic, or eclectic interiors.
