A striking vintage Lane Summit pair of nightstands, a standout of American mid-century modern design. Rich walnut two door fronts are set within a clean picture-frame case, punctuated by two sculpted vertical pulls with inset burl wood panels that run continuously for a bold, architectural look.
The case floats a plinth base, giving these a low light profile despite its generous storage. Behind the two doors is plenty of storage space which makes it as practical as it is beautiful, these pieces match the long low dresser that we have listed as well.
Lane furniture is known for quality construction and distinctive design, and this Summit dresser shows off both, with warm walnut grain and lively burl figure.
