A striking pair of mid-century end tables attributed to Tomlinson, in the spirit of their celebrated Sophisticate era. The figured burl tops are framed in walnut, and the ends of each top turn up like a classic Asian altar table. Ebonized legs and stretchers set off the warm wood tones. Each table has a woven cane lower shelf and rolls on its original brass ball casters.
The pair blends mid-century modern design with Asian influence, and works equally well as end tables, nightstands or sofa-side tables. The cane shelves give you room for books or decorative pieces without adding visual weight.
